How to Build Strategy Alignment between Business Strategy and IT Strategy on Institutional Transition

摘要：

With the extensive application of information technology, IT has been an important role within today’s organizations during strategy planning. How to built strategy alignment has been one of the hottest issues in academic and industrial society, especially, on institutional transitions. In this paper, the author combined Henderson and Venkatraman’s Strategic Alignment Model (SAM) and a two-phase model as the theoretical base, and proposed two types of approaches to build strategy alignment on institutional transitions. I wish these approaches would be helpful in the practice of strategic alignment in the increasingly severe competent environment.
