Design of downlink and uplink timeslots switch of the TD-SCDMA wireless repeater
For radio access systems based on Time Division Duplex(TDD) mode,like the Time Division Synchronous Code Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) Radio System,frame synchronization is a fundamental feature to minimize interference and therfore optimize the offered traffic capacity.In particular,sub-frame synchronization ensures that uplink and downlink transmission directions are positioned.In this paper a method was proposed to realize accurate control of downlink and uplink timeslots of the TD-SCDMA repeater,thus preventing interference between adjacent downlink and uplink timeslots,where the procedure is performed by sub-frame synchronization and time-delay estimation.The method presented in these pages allows to have a higher reliability and accuracy with respect to the methods described in the UTRAN standard for TDD-LCR.
