Phase Unwrapping for Multibaseline SAR Interferometry Using Optimized Data

In this paper,a new method of the multibaselineinterferometric SAR phase unwrapping based on the model ofthe optimum data vector is introduced.The method constructsthe multibaseline optimal weighted joint data (MOWJD) vectorby taking advantage of the coherence information of neighboringpixels in order to adaptively coregister the SAR images and thenemploy the projection of the joint signal subspace onto thecorresponding noise subspace to estimate the unwrappedinterferometric phases (or the terrain heights).Theoreticalanalysis and experimental results show that the method canprovide the accurate unwrapped interferometric phase even ifthe coregistration error is close to one pixel.The effectivenessand robustness of the technique is verified by simulated data.
