Magnetic Sensor Based on Giant Magnetoimpedance Effect
A giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) magnetic sensor is designed in the present work.Differing from the previously reported sensors,a couple of permanent magnets are applied to provide a bias magnetic field for the sensor probe which consists of commercial amorphous ribbon.A negative feedback-coil is adopted to improve the linearity of the sensor output.The sensor shows sensitivity of 1041mV/Oe in the range of ±1Oe,measurement precision of less than 0.11% at room temperature and good thermal stability in the temperature region between -20 and 30℃.
