A Broadband Slotted Multimode Waveguide Antenna Array
A Slotted-multimode waveguide antenna array is introduced to provide a broad reflection / gain bandwidth and high efficiency.Radiating slots are cut in the shorted wall of multimode waveguide which is short-circuited at one end and fed from the other end.A low profile and broadband waveguide feed network is adopted to feed the array.A 20-dB linear Taylor distribution is used in the corporate feed network synthesis.The measured reflection bandwidth is 21％ based on VSWR 2.The gain is 30dBi and the efficiency is 70％ over the entire bandwidth.The SLLs are less than -15dB over the entire bandwidth
