Design of a Dual Band and Broadband Microstrip Monopole Antenna

摘要：

This paper presented a small dual band and broadband microstrip monopole antenna fed by CPW.The proposed monopole can generate two separate resonant modes and operate in two frequency bands that used for WLAN.The lower operating band covers from 2.27GHz to 2.49GHz and the upper operating band covers from 4.52GHz to 6.61GHz.The monopole only has a very small size,15.4mm×10.2mm×0.762 mm and easy to integrate with other communication equipment.Simulation and experimental results show that the monopole can work at the two designed bands well.
