A Novel UWB Planar Antenna

摘要：

In this paper,a novel ultra wideband (UWB) planer antenna is proposed.The antenna is composed of a square ring radiator and partially grounded,which occupies about 3.5GHz impedance bandwidth covering 5.9GHz-9.4GHz.A quasiomnidirectional and quasi-symmetrical radiation pattern in y-z plane in the whole frequency band is also obtained.The antenna satisfies the requirements of UWB wireless communications verified with the results presented,and will be a good solution for some UWB applications.
