Antenna, Feeding and Adjusting Network for TD-SCDMA Base Station
A collinear planar dipole antenna array,with its feeding and adjusting network,is designed,realized and tested.The antenna element comprises nine planar dipoles,fed by coaxial lines which were connected to a nine-way power divider.For each antenna element,measured SWR is less than 1.5 over the TD-SCDMA frequency band (1880-1920,2010-2025MHz); the 3dB beam width is over 90 in H-plane and more than 7 in E-plane; the gain varies from 15.2dB to 16.1dB,satisfying the industry standard.Six antenna elements compose a larger array.A “6+1 adjusting board,used to get the signals in both transmit and receive mode for power adjusting,is also designed.The coupling factors between adjusting port and each element’s port are about -26dB,with a maximum variation of 0.7dB.
