Unsymmetrical Monopole Antenna on a T-shaped Ground Plane

摘要：

A compact planar monopole antenna is investigated to cover 870-2450 MHz band.This antenna is an inverted E-shaped monopole with a T-stub ground plane.Influence of asymmetry on bandwidth is discussed.We found that asymmetry can further help improve impedance match with VSWR less than two within the whole desired band.
