An Approach to Extract the Chinese Calligraphys Approximate Skeleton

摘要：

This paper proposes an efficient approach to get theChinese calligraphy s approximate skeleton. Thecontour information of the character is directly used.Thus the resulting skeleton can reflect the charactersstyle properly. The accuracy of the result can be wellcontrolled by specifying the density of sampling pointsof the contour.
