Intensional Programming is a declarativeprogramming paradigm that involves the programmingof expressions placed in an inherently multidimensionalcontext space. It is an emerging and evolving domain ofvery general application. The General lntensionalProgramming System (GIPSY) aims at the developmentof a programming system that would allow verydynamic investigations on the possibilities oflntensional Programming and all its widely differentflavors and domains of application. Requirement as akey driver to any systems or software effort, it providesthe basis for all of the following development work.
