Virtual Prototype Based Architecture of Cooperative Design and Simulation for Complex Products

Virtual Prototype (VP) technology is the researchhotspot in the recent years. A review for the researchand application on VP technology is expatiated. Themain research content is the system architecture ofcooperative design and simulation of complex productswith VP and the key technologies under the concurrentengineering environment. The system framework andsolution scheme of cooperative design and simulationwith VP are set up. The multi-domain integratednumerical modeling theory and method for VP arepresented The model of integrated processmanagement and conflict resolution for the lifecycle ofVP development is built. The theory and methodologyon multidisciplinary cooperative design, cooperativesimulation and intelligent decision support for the VPof complex product development is described Theframework of cooperative support environment for VPof complex products is built and the result is satisfied.
