HLA-based Collaborative Simulation Platform for Complex Product Design
The High Level Architecture (HLA) provides asoftware architecture for collaborative simulation,which is an important analyzing means used in complexproduct design. A collaborative simulation platformbased on HLA is developed to fulfill the requirements ofmultidisciplinary modeling/simulation and performanceevaluation in complex product design. The majorconstitutions of this platform-the HLA adapters, theconsole and the evaluator-are described in this paper,whose implementation and functions are discussed indetail. This paper also introduces further refinements ofthis platform.
