Developing a Multidisciplinary Approach for Concurrent Engineering and Collaborative Design

摘要：

This paper presents an industrial application toimplement concurrent art in a railway rolling stockmanufacturer in China. To extend the applicationtowards a knowledge-based distributed collaborativedesign system, a human centred approach based onknowledge interactions between stakeholders andlearning is tentatively outlined. Future relevanttheoretical research to develop multidisciplinarydesign approach is also discussed. The conclusion isgiven at the end of paper.
