Bringing Context to CSCW

摘要：

The context concept can be used with advantage in thearea of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work Formany years, the awareness term has been used in thisarea without explicit association to context. This paperattempts to clarify their relationship. In particular, aframework is proposed to understand context andawareness as connected to other concepts used ingroup work as well. The framework is useful toconsider some groupware systems from the contextperspective and to obtain some insight on possibleimprovements for users.
