Concurrent and Collaborative Modeling for Automotive Engine Design
Concurrent and collaborative modeling ofautomotive engine design should consider syntheticallymanufacturing and assembly process, and may beinvolved with many disciplines, such as mechanics,dynamics, vibration analysis, and so on. In this paper,firstly, the constraints network approach is presented tomodel concurrent and collaborative productdevelopment process. Secondly, interval consistencyalgorithm is adopted to predict the potential conflictsand specify the interval of design parameters. Themethod of concurrent and collaborative design ispresented Finally, the concurrent and collaborativesystem of automotive engine design is presented.
