A Software Workshop for Cooperative Design Using Software Components

摘要：

The article describes a new approach to handling largesoftware projects using components. We developed asoftware workshop, ALMA, in which components aremodeled in a shared repository, allowing to improvesoftware development by favoring the use of designpatterns, the reuse of(source) code, and the writing ofdocumentation. Parsers allow to input data fromvarious languages, editors allow to modify the contentof the repository (model) using various perspectives,and generators produce different types of output (codeor documents). The paper discusses the improvementbrought by the existence of the model and presentspossible extensions.
