Modification of Product Data for Remote Collaborative Design

摘要：

The complex contemporary design problems requirecollaborative solutions. The modification of productdata is the important aspect for remote collaborativedesign process. This paper presents a novel componentagent model that is based on the finite state machine(FSM) theory and component technology. By combiningthe proposed agent model, collaborative design-oriented product data model with correspondingimplement methods, a frame of component agent modelfor collaborative design is proposed, which is suitablefor remote product data modification. The applicationsshow that the proposed model can help the remotecollaborative designer modify a part of product datawithout transferring the whole product data model.
