WebService-Based Distributed Feature Library

摘要：

In this paper, we proposed a novel distributed featurelibrary based on WebService technology-GS-FeatureLib.It envelops all the features of this library in the form ofWebService and takes the xml document as the messageformat communicated between the feature modelingkernel and feature library server. The Modeling kernelinvokes services by means of a set of new standardizedInternet protocols. In a word, It provides an open,standardized, loose-coupling feature library, which iscentralized logically, while distributed geographically. Inaddition, we also focus on the unified feature definition ofboth form feature and user-defined feature. Theinteractive process between the modeling kernel andlibrary has been discussed in details in the last section,demonstrating how this novel architecture effectivelyworks.
