Process Analysis in the generation of Product Modularization Based on Fuzzy Cluster
A product design method based on modularization isproposed during the course of mass customization, and aseries of factors, which affect the interactive relationshipof components as well as the generation of product in lifecycle, are discussed. Moreover, by using fuzzy clusteringalgorithm the generated process of sequential clustering isalso analyzed. A typical example is presented showingsuch method to be applicable and effective for productmodularization. This approach offers another way ofnumerical analysis and evaluation for modular agilemanufacturing pattern for mass customization. In addition,cooperative design area concerned with individualproduct is accordingly enlarged.
