A Multi-agent System Supporting Creativity in Conceptual Design

摘要：

This paper describes an experimental multi-agentsystem developed for and aimed at supportingcreative and collaborative conceptual design. First,this paper characterizes the pivotal techniques withinconceptual design.Then presents a multi-agentcollaborative design system and shows the designflowchart involved in this environment. Next,describes the optimization model in taskdecomposition agent, assembly agent, andThestructure in design agent and, more essentially, detailthe learning tactics within the system. At last, showsthe whole design process using this multi-agentenvironment using a concrete design example of vase.
