Deception Jamming against ISAR with Frequency-Stepped Chirp Signal Based on Time Delay

ISAR based on frequency-stepped chirp signal has greater capability of anti-jamming than that of the conventional radar due to its peculiar characteristic.Frequency-stepped chirp signal can achieve total large bandwidth while maintaining narrow instantaneous bandwidth,thus reducing the complexity of radar systems.A new method of jamming the ISAR imaging is proposed,where the received signal is retransmitted after the time delay has been done.Therefore the deception targets can be constructed and the deception jamming against frequencystepped ISAR is successfully accomplished.Simulations are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
