An Agent-based Framework for Cross-domain Cooperation of Virtual Enterprise

Researchers on virtual enterprise cooperation havetried to implement the cross-domain cooperation andinner-domain cooperation of virtual enterprise using anidentical method. Based on the analysis of whyagent-based mechanism is suitable and only suitable forcross-domain cooperation of virtual enterprise, wepropose a framework to implement it. In our framework,there is a service information Supply-Demand Center(SDC) which is in charge of service informationmanagement and Agent is responsible for cooperativepartner selecting before cooperation and interactionduring cooperation. The relevant key strategies andbasic interaction models are also described. Finally,application of the framework in ECCS (E-Commercebased Cooperative System) and Webflow-which areour two workflow-based cooperative systems-isintroduced.
