Study of 3D Co-Modeling Method forω Type Bar-spring Clip

摘要：

ω type bar-spring clip is a very complex space curveform elastic fastening for track, it was very difficult tocreate its 3D model in general CAD without bugs.In thispaper, the structure ofω type bar-spring clip is analysed,and the parametric equations and two improved methodsbased on UG/Open API programming for modeling aregiven, and the comparison is made between two methods.The presented method is suitable for creation of accuratemodel. This is meaningful for manufacture, performanceanalysis, and seriation of the bar-spring clip.
