Implementation of Prototype System about Visual Customization Based On VRML

摘要：

In this paper, a method, which is achieved through theinteraction of VRML browser and Java Applet usingExternal Authoring Interface to implement customization,is presented by analyzing current customized methods ine-commerce platform. The architecture of the method isput forward and the relative techniques are researchedthen a prototype system for timer is developed. Thatsystem allows customers to configure color and style ofthe product so that customers requirements are satisfied.Compared with traditional e-commerce model, themethod not only enriches the contents of web sites, buthelps customers know the products better.
