The SCORM Standard and its Application in Web-based Education Resources Building

When developing web-based education resources,we meet new problems: resources have poor interoperability and reusability. They cant be reused or retrieved by other systems and many resources are developed redundantly. ADL proposed the SCORM standard to solve this problem. SCORM provides a mechanism allowing content developed in one system to be shared by other SCORM-conformant systems supported by CAM, RTE and SN. The process of creating a standard SCORM courseware was discussed in detail showing the problems which should pay attention to.
