A Calibration Method of Augmented Reality Based Conceptual Design Platform
A prototype system on Augmented Reality BasedConceptual Design Platform is proposed in this paper.Based on the stereo vision methods, the stereo localizationsystem implements the tracing of the sculpture tools andthe mock-up. In this paper, a new calibration method isapplied which uses a planar pattern, and accuratecameras parameters are obtained through the CCDcalibrating of the prototype system. The experimentresults show that although there is severe non-lineardistortion in the lens, the perfect image can be obtainedby correcting lens distortion.
