Research on Self-Adaptive Load Balancing in EJB Clustering System
Load balancing has become an issue which shouldbe focused on.Existing researches on load balancing,however,have their inadequacies,such as onlysupporting simply static methods in many of main J2EEapplication servers without dynamic nature andadaptive ability.In view of the deficiency above,asecondary positioning self-adaptive method ispresented in this paper,and according to the idea ofmodular and Plug-in design in JBoss,this loadbalancing method is implemented on the form ofMBean and has been embedded in dBoss.In addition,using the design pattern of interceptor and proxydecision-making mechanism,two chains of interceptorare designed and realized so that load balancingsupport a double-level positioning for a request.Theperformance of this method is tested in JBoss at last,and the results show this method can balance theworkloads effectively.Moreover,this method can beserved as a reference for realizing self-adaptive loadbalancing.
