Research on Timestamp in HDDBMS

We analyze the HDDBMS using the object-orientedtechnology and design a kind of mechanism for theexecution of global transactions in DDBMS withoutdeprecating the autonomy of each site.The basic ideais: all the global transactions should be decomposedby the coordinator which is in the same site with thetransaction;and all the access to the data should becontrolled by the coordinator that is in the same sitewith the data.Such design makes the distributedprocessing of the global transactions in a morerestricted level.We propose a new sorting algorithmbased on timestamp,which can avoid occurrence anddetection of dead locks,to guarantee execution in aserialized order.Communication between sites isrealized by Remote Procedure Call technology.Itimproves interoperation between programs in differentsites,and avoids inter-process block in traditionaldistributed transaction processing.
