Fuzzy Navigation of a Monitoring Mobile Robot
Advances on the design and construction of anautonomous mobile system aimed to measuretemperature or another variable of interest at somerecognizable marks are presented.The mobile robot iscommanded to follow a line,avoiding non structuredobstacles encountered along the line.The system is todetect marks along the path,where the robot shall stopand take measures of the variable of interest to form,for instance,a temperature map of the site that themobile system traverses.Fuzzy logic is being used todevelop the.algorithms for the line following and forthe obstacle avoidance tasks,minimizing the zigzagmotion along the path.
