Team Situation Awareness Measurement Using Group Aggregation and Implication Operators

Situation Awareness(SA)has been received much at-tention from human factors and ergonomics communityduring the past two decades.Team working plays a vi-tal role in complex dynamic situations,increasing require-ments for sharing perceptions and comprehension of a sit-uation among team members and improving team situationawareness have been merged.This paper presents a teamSA measurement(TSAM)method taking both qualitativeand quantitative information into consideration.The TSAMmethod uses a hierarchy to depict teams shared mentalmodel,applies linguistic terms to represent individual SAand adopts a group aggregation strategy to integrate in-dividual SA through indicator-specified implication opera-tors.Example has shown its effective.
