A Modified Differential Evolution Algorithm with Self-adaptive Control Parameters
Parameters setting is an important problem ofevolution algorithms,include differential evolutionalgorithm.It has an effect on the performance ofevolution algorithms.Although there is only threecontrol parameters in differential evolution(DE)algorithm,the parameters setting is also a difficultproblem.Self-adaptation is highly beneficial foradjusting the control parameters,especially when donewithout any user interaction.This paper presentsdifferential evolution algorithm,called(AdaptDE),which use self-adaptive mechanisms applied to thecontrol parameters.It can get the optimal controlparameters for different optimization problem withoutuser interaction.Experimental results indicate thatAdaptDE algorithm is efficient and feasible.It issuperior to jDE algorithm and FADE algortihm on thequality of solution.
