PIEZO-CONDUCTANCE EFFECT OF CARBON FIBER/SULPHOALUMINATE CEMENT COMPOSITE

Carbon fibcr/sulphoaluminate cement composite (CFSC) was prepared by pressingprocess. Its piezo-conductanee effect was investigated. The experiment results indicate asfollowing. The conductance of CFSC with 0.5% carbon fiber was sensitive to the stresschange. Based on the piezo-conductance effect, CFSC could sense the loading stress on itself.At the same time, the piezo-conductance effect of CFSC had good repeatability and stability.Therefore, CFSC can sense exactly the stress on itself based on its piezo-conductance effect.
