RECONSTRUCTION AND VISUALIZATION OF THREE DIMENSIONAL PORE STRUCTURES IN CEMENT PASTE BY LASER SCANNING CONFOCAL MICROSCOPY
Visualization and representation of three dimensional (3D) pore morphologies in thecement paste are significant interest for understanding the relationship between pore structureand durability. In this study, the pore structure in two-dimensional section planes has beenobserved utilizing the laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM). The porosity andinterconnected pore were analyzed. The reconstruction of 3D pore structures from serialsections enables visualization and characterization of detailed 3D morphologies and spatialcorrelations of the pores.
