INFLUENCE OF POLYCARBOXYLATE-BASED SUPERPLASTICIZER ON THE MICROSTRUCTURE OF CONCRETE

This paper elaborates the mechanism of polycarboxylate-based superplasticizer on cementconcretc and, in particular, describes the effect of this type of admixture on pore structure andinterface state of cement based materials. Experimental results demonstrate that the effect ofpolycarboxylate-based superplasticizer on concrete microstructure is largely influenced by itsmolecular structure, graft group and graft quality. Using the polycarboxylate-basedsuperplasticizer with superior performance can effectively optimize the pore structure ofcement concrete.
