Two New Optimal Aggregation Approaches of Fuzzy Opinions in Group Decision Environment
The aggregation of fuzzy opinions is an importantcomponent of group decision analysis with fuzzyinformation. This paper proposes two new approaches forthe assessment of the weights to be associated with fuzzyopinions. These approaches involve, respectively, theminimization of the sum of squared differences between theindividual weighted fuzzy opinion and the weighted meanvalue of all fuzzy opinions, which is called the weightedminimum variance method(WMVM),and the minimaxdifferences between the possibilistic mean value of aweighted.fuzzy opinion and the possibilistic mean value ofthe weighted mean value, which is called the possibilisticmean value minimax differences method(PMVMDM).Thetwo approaches are developed and numerical examplesare presented to illustrate their simplicity and effectivenessin aggregating fuzzy opinions.
