STUDY ON THE PRESENCE FORM OF MgO IN RECONSTRUCTED-STEEL SLAG

摘要：

The presence forms of MgO in reconstructing steel slag process were studied by X-rayDiffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM), energy dispersion(EDS) andMetallurgical Microscopy. The results show that the main forms of MgO in reconstructed-steel slag is free MgO and RO phase in the form of wustite. The reconstructing process ofsteel slag is advantage to make MgO dissolve into RO phase. Some free MgO recrystallizes tobe more perfectly in reconstructed-steel slag, especially steel slag was reconstructed at hightemperature.
