Anaerobic Fermentation of Biogas Using Cotton Stalk as raw material
Effect of inoculums and aerobic treatment to fermentation material on anaerobic fermentation of biogas using cotton stalk as raw material were investigated. The result showed that aerobic treatment to fermentation material could improve biogas production. The highest average amount of biogas (per day), the highest accumulate amounts of biogas were achieved while using the mixed inoculums (weight ratio of pig excrement and fish pond sludge:l:l) as inoculums ( 172ml. 9481ml), to the pig excrement, these variables are 138ml, 8834ml, and in the case of fish pond sludge, these variables are 124ml,5072ml.The TS, VS and COD of fermentation broth of mixed inoculums declined mostly (32.2%, 25.7% and 59.2%), to the pig excrement, these variables are 24.6%, 18.4% and 45.7%, while the variables are 19.8%, 15.3 % and 42.6% in the case of fish pond sludge.
