Research on the Graft Polymerization of Enzymatic Hydrolysis Lignin with Acrylamide
Graft copolymerization of enzymatic hydrolysis lignin(EHL) with acrylamide(AM) was studied in this article. The influences of some factors on the yield and graft degree were investigated, including the category and concentration of the initiators, mass ratio of lignin and AM, mass ratio of lignin and water, temperature and copolymerization time. The structure of copolymer was characterized by FT-IR. According to the graft efficiency, the optimum conditions for the graft copolymerization were as follows: initiator K2S2O8-Na2S2O3 with a quantity 3% of iignin, AM : EHL lignin (mass fraction)=2~3, water : EHL lignin(mass fraction)=50, reaction time 4h and temperature at 50℃. Compared with original EH-lignin, the graft copolymer showed better adsorption capacity to Acid Red and Active Red dyestuff.
