Kinetics of Biomass Catalytic Pyrolysis
The Coats-Redfern method was used to analyze the kinetic characters of biomass catalytic pryolysis firstly, with the result that the biomass catalytic pyrolysis can be described by multi-step reactions rather than a simple apparent first-order reaction. The following Friedman model-free calculation gave the starting reaction types and the corresponding initial kinetic parameters. The final nonlinear regression of the biomass catalytic pyrolsis found that the reaction mechanisms of the whole process can be kinetically characterized by three successive reactions which are one-dimensional-diffusion reaction followed by apparent first-order reaction and lastly two-dimensional-diffusion reaction, the kinetic parameters and equations were calculated as well.
