STUDY ON THE ASH FUSIBILITY OF BIOMASS AND COAL BLENDING
YX-HRD ash fusibility analyzer was used to research the effects of biomass proportions on the ash fusion temperature of biomass and coal blending under the weak reductive atmosphere. Eight kinds of biomass and their mixture with bituminous coal in different proportions were selected to be studied. The results show that with the adding of biomass ash, the ash fusion temperature of coal is reduced and the influencing sequence is rice straw, wheat straw and corn stalk, vinasse, cotton stalk and poplar chip, peanut shell, paper sullage. Ash fusion temperature increases with the increasing of Al2O3, while SiO2 individual has no obvious effect on ash fusion temperature, but the silicates of sodium and potassium have important effect which leads to the ash fusion temperature decrease greatly. Finally, a quadratic polynomial regression model between ash fusion temperature and ash chemical composition were established.
