Experimental Study on Emulsified Bio-oil Combusted in Diesel Engine
The research is about bio-oil and diesel by emulsion theory and methods and produces the emulsified bio-oil fuel which can be used directly in diesel engine, we made the experimentation in diesel engine in order to turn bio-oil whose material is farming and forestry biological offal into reproducible substitute fuel. The result of the experiment shows that: bio-oil and diesel emulsified according to proper proportion could combust in diesel engine. During the experiment, there were no abnormal phenomena. The ratio of fuel consume is high comparing emuisive bio-oil and diesel used in diesel engine, but the ratio of fuel consume is equal when be converted into equivalent diesel; The effluent of NOx reduced remarkably, Emission number for smoke k is no more than 2 and far more than low the national standard (particulate K less than 3).
