Aluminumdodecatungstophosphate (Al0.9H0.3PW12O40) nanotube as a solid acid catalyst for one-pot production of biodiesel from waste cooking oil
A solid nanocatalyst aluminumdodecatungstophosphate (Al09H0 3PW12O40, abbreviated as AIPW) with nanotube structure has been synthesized through natural cellulose fiber template. AIPW nanotube, a highly water-tolerant and acid-tolerant, green double acids--Brφnsted acid and Lewis acid has been applied as an efficient nanoheterogeneou catalyst for the preparation of biodiesel from waste cooking oil containing 26.89 wt% high free fatty acids (FFAs) and 1% moisture via esterification of FFAs and transesterification of triglycerides at one pot under mild condition.
