STUDY ON THE COUPLING PROCESS OF CATALYTIC ESTERIFICATION AND EXTRACTION OF HIGH ACID VALUE WASTE OIL WITH METHANOL
Fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) were prepared and the acid value was reduced by the coupling process of catalytic esterification and extraction of the waste oil with high fatty acid content with methanol in self-made fixed bed reactor. In the coupling process, the cation resin was used as both solid acid catalyst and.padding. Compared with the process of extraction, the deacidification efficiency of the coupling process is equivalent to seven extraction stages; Compared with the process of esterification, the esterification yield after 32 min of the coupling process is 90.3%, while the esterification yield of the esterification process is about 22%, and the reaction time is 160 min when the esterification yield of the esterification process reaches 68%.
