Nitrogen Ion Implantation Regulated Lipid Perxidation of Sloanea hemsleyana Seeds
Sloanea hemsleyana seeds were treated under various doses of nitrogen ion and then measured their enzymatic activities. The results indicate that the activity of peroxidase (POD), superoxide dismutase(SOD), catalase(CAT) reached their peak values at the.rates from 9×1016 ions/cm2 to 12×1016 ions/cm2, while the malondiadehyde(MDA) content and the electrolytic leakage were at their lowest readings. The optimum dosage of N+ ion beam implantation could increase the activities of protective enzymes and decrease the effection of lipid perxidation.
