OPTIMIZATION OF LOCATIONS OF LOGISTICS CENTERS BASED ON IMPROVED GENETIC ALGORITHM
In this paper, we start from the characteristics and demands of locations of logistics centers and propose a mathematics model for locations problems. This model is based on the optimization of the total transport costs and time among customers and their serving centers. We also propose an improved genetic algorithm in which self-adaptive crossover operator and mutation operator have been designed to improve the capability in searching local areas and avoid premature convergence effectively. Finally, we demonstrate that the improved algorithm can solve the optimization problems of the locations of logistics centers promptly by examples.
