HUMANIZED RECOGNITION MODEL IN THE PERCEPTION SYSTEM OF SOFTMAN
SoftMan, the virtual robot in network environ-ment, is a kind of software artificial life living in computer networks. It has a humanized structure, and simulating human, its perception system should be able to recognize perceptive objects. The process of human recognizing objects is very complicated and many characteristics need to be considered in order to simulate the process. According to the meaning of perception, the memory structure and the basic concept of bionic pattern recognition, a humanized recognition model in SoftMan’s perception system is proposed. In the model, the main function of the representation module is to judge whether an object is known. Consequently, a statistic algorithm for the module is presented and simulated experiments show the algorithm is effective.
