EXPRESSION RECOGNITION IN EXPERT SYSTEM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTATION*

摘要：

Expert system of psychological consultation has a disadvantage which is being short of expression, adding facial expression recognition module to the traditional expert system of psychological Consultation can solve this problem. The gesture recognition module normally consists of three stages: face detection, normalization and classification of facial expressions. As the first stage, face detection is the precondition of the whole facial expression recognition. Skin color segmentation is simple and efficiency. This paper proposes a method of face detection which is based on skin color segmentation. Experiment result proved that it can recognize the location of the face, eyes and mouth.
