IMAGE TO TEXT TRANSLATION: A REVIEW

摘要：

This paper presents a review of the existing approaches for image to text translation. A general structure for image to text translation systems is proposed which includes a development phase and an application phase. A description of the internal components of the devised structure is presented. In addition, a review of the existing methods that implement each component is given. Four methods for image annotation are proposed, and their architectures are reviewed.
