On Chinese Characters and Graphic Design

摘要：

As a writing language,Chinese character has become one of the most important hallmarks of the Chinese nation and a strong medium of Chinese culture because it embodies the wits and spirit of the Chinese people during its development and evolution of thousand years.The rich cultural connotation in Chinese characters has given Chinas graphic design a lot of influence and enlightenment,it is necessary to study Chinese characters,explore Chinese culture and philosophy in them,and employ Chinese characters further in graphic designing.
